Stormwater Pollution Prevention Panel

  • 31 Aug 2022
  • 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM

This educational experience features experts from an array of professions: Peter Shellenbarger (City of Ventura), Eric Berg (Pacific Coast Land Design, Inc.), and Trevor Ranlett (Anvil Builders). We will be exploring a variety of Best Management Practices (BMPs) that can be implemented to prevent the number one cause of pollution in waterways nationwide - stormwater pollution. Stormwater Pollution Prevention (SWPP) is important around the globe, but even more so in coastal California. This panel will provide current information about how to incorporate stormwater BMP’s into new and redevelopment projects, and explore the new landscape of stormwater management and why it’s become such an important topic of conversation. In addition, the speakers will expand on their understanding about the opportunities of improved stormwater management and how it can provide value within the built environment. The discussion will conclude with the panelists answering questions asked by our CCGBC community.
