Green Building Certification Inc. (GBCI)  Rating Systems: 

GBCI is the premier global organization for independently recognizing excellence in sustainability performance and practice. With regional offices in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Europe, India and China, GBCI is accelerating the adoption of green business practices through an array of certification and professional credentialing programs.

 GBCI: USGBC LEED Certification

LEED, or Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, is the most widely used green building rating system in the world. Available for virtually all building, community and home project types, LEED provides a framework to create healthy, highly efficient and cost-saving green buildings. GBCI: TRUE Rating System

TRUE is a whole systems approach aimed at changing how materials flow through society, resulting in no waste. GreenPoint Rated Verification

GreenPoint Rated is a green building rating system that has over 150 measures in categories covering every part of your home's construction. Mandated by the San Luis Obispo Green Building Ordinance if a newly constructed single family home is larger than 2,500 square feet.
