Wouter Schik: Water and Sustainable Urban Development

Wouter Schik, BREEAM AP and Arcadis employee from the Netherlands, is holding a lecture at UCSB in the Sustainable Urban Communities class on April 21st. 
Topics will include:

- Notions of sustainable development

- Experiences from international and Dutch projects

- Emphasizing process vs. output: what LEED and BREEAM bring to the table.

Lessons from the most successful green cities worldwide.

He will be offering a new perspective on sustainable cities as he presents on green building and water conservation efforts in Europe. Come to UCSB and learn more about hot sustainable communities are developing around the world.
