LMUSD- Facilities Master Plan Townhall Meeting: Arroyo Grande

The Lucia Mar Unified School District began developing a comprehensive facilities master plan in October of 2013. Facility Master Planning is, by its nature, a broad endeavor.  The Facilities Master Plan (FMP) is developed as a “living” document and also a strategic planning tool that will identify short-term and long-term facility goals within the District.  A primary goal of this plan is to develop learning-centered facilities that effectively support and enhance LMUSD’s vision for 21st century schools and to identify equitable improvements at all the sites.
    The district has received feedback and input from a large variety of stakeholders so far, including teachers, parents, administrators, and local agencies. But before finalizing any of the proposed site master plans the district is hoping to share the draft versions of the proposed improvements at two town hall meetings this week. These meetings are open to anyone wanting to learn more about the process and/or provide additional feedback.
