The Energy Event is an annual community event organized and hosted by the San Luis Obispo County Energy Collaborative. This year’s event will showcase student energy projects, hands-on activities, interactive exhibitor booths, and family-friendly entertainment. Bring the family for a fun-filled day discovering how energy works, and how you can enjoy a healthier planet and a healthier you.

Preliminary Schedule

  • 7:30AM until 10AM Energize SLO: Cross Country Challenge across the street from Cuesta
  • 10AM Exhibitor Booths, Student Project Displays, and hands-on energy activities open. Continental Breakfast available.
  • 13:30AM Performance by Bucket Busters
  • 11AM LEGO Green Cities Challenge & Potato Clock Making
  • 12PM Lunch available in the quad area
  • 1PM Performance by Rap Superhero, Mr. Eco
  • 2PM Exhibitor Booths, Student Project Displays, and energy activities close.
