Habitat Ladies: Women Build, Saturday May 11

Hi Volunteers,

The information you need to enjoy women build is here: www.hfhvcwomenbuild2013.eventbrite.com (Time is ticking! Register soon.)

I'm thrilled - The weather man says it will be 77 degrees and SUNNY on Saturday May 11th! I hope you can join me and Habitat for Humanity of Ventura County during the Women Build event. It is the PERFECT thing to do with your mom before mothers day.

YOU are the heart of Habitat for Humanity and it is a privilege to work with you. I'm including some info below.... if you are able to give our team a hand by spreading the word, I'd sincerely appreciate it.

Blessings,
Kathleen

You can HELP THE HABITAT TEAM BY SHARING THIS through your social media network:

As we prepare to celebrate Mother’s Day in a few weeks, let’s reflect on the various ways moms help build homes. Not only do phenomenal women provide nurturing support for their families, women volunteers raise their hammers at Habitat for Humanity construction sites across the country.

At Habitat for Humanity of Ventura County, we are EXCITED about our upcoming Women Build event www.hfhvcwomenbuild2013.eventbrite.com. YOU CAN HELP THE HABITAT TEAM BY SHARING THIS INFORMATION THROUGH YOUR SOCIAL MEDIA NETWORK. We’d like as many women at this event as possible.

Support for this program impacts our local community and helps to address housing issues that face women and children world wide.

Every dollar received through Women Build helps fund the two single family homes that women build participants will help to build on Saturday May 11.

National Women Build Week is a program developed in partnership with Habitat for Humanity International and Lowe’s. Now in its sixth year, this national event challenges women to devote at least one day to creating simple, decent and affordable housing in their local communities. Over 31,000 women volunteers from all 50 states have participated in these events, and everyone who participates makes a difference – That’s YOU!

Thank you for your generous support.
