On June 16, 2018 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm the City of Ventura hosts a GREEN BUILDING EXPO at City Hall, 501 Poli Street in Ventura titled “Ventura Strong Re-Builds Green!” The event will showcase green building and landscaping opportunities for City of Ventura residents who are rebuilding after the Thomas Fire. Public utility agencies, non-governmental organizations, and other community environmental groups will operate booths providing information on a range of topics: renewable energy options, indoor water efficiency, green building materials, outdoor water usage, turf alternatives, and defensible space plans.
