ArchitecTours 2018 Call for Entries April 13th

AIA Santa Barbara is now accepting entries for projects to be featured in the 10th annual ArchitecTours event to be held October 6, 2018.
Submitted projects will be required to show a connection to the theme,“Rediscover Downtown”, showcasing the best of downtown living. Our vision is to make this a walking tour – allowing participants to get out of their cars and explore. As a result, we are looking for projects that are walkable within and near the downtown area. We are looking for entries from Sola to Sterns Wharf and Bath to Garden, but are open to other nearby projects.
There have been many conversations over the last few years about the changing face of Downtown Santa Barbara and how best to bring back its economic vitality, while making it more vibrant, more livable, and more walkable. This year’s 10th Anniversary ArchitecTours wants to share some of the exciting things that are happening in Downtown Santa Barbara in response to these issues
