Monthly GBA Meeting: Title 24 Standards Update   
2016 codes take effect Jan 1, 2017. 28% more stringent, this is another step up toward the Zero Energy goal for 2020.

Lauren Bell, HERS Rater, House Doctor will be giving an overview of the new codes and what you can expect in the near future. Strategies learned from the top contractors in the State will be offered to help you meet these new code requirements.

We want to give you the tools you need to make code requirements not only cost effective, but simply the new way you do business.

This meeting will be very helpful for contractors, especially HVAC, insulation and plumbing contractors. Generals, along with crew superintendents who work on the jobsite are highly recommended to attend. Architects will get an idea of what is needed to incorporate energy code into your designs. An overview of the new code as it is typically applied on the Central Coast will be discussed and time for questions will follow.
