Living Schoolyard Month

During the month of May, schools across California will be participating in the first Living Schoolyard Month by taking classes outside for more hands-on learning and establishing best practices that can be used throughout the year. Many schools and organizations are also holding community celebrations, schoolyard work parties and gardening classes in honor of the first annual event.

C4 will have comprehensive boards displayed in the San Luis Obispo Government Center lobby during the entire month of May. The boards will display past Gateway to Green Schools projects, information on how to get involved with Green Schools and what our Green Schools Steering Committee is doing for our community.
